For a Holiday touch: use cranberry juice, pomegranate seeds, and sauteed potatoes.

What to bring

  • Ingredients

    • Guacamole

      • 1 avocado

      • 1 lime (only the juice no seeds)

      • 1/3 cup white onion small diced

      • 1/3 cup red tomato roma (with skin, no seeds and small diced)

      • 2 serrano chiles or ½ jalapeño (whole)

      • 1/3 cup cucumber peeled and small diced

      • 3 sprigs fresh cilantro chopped (save some leaves to decor)

      • coarse salt, fine salt, and pepper to taste

      • 1 bag totopos or tortilla chips

    • Quesadillas with all-purpose flour

      • 1 cup of all-purpose flour

      • 1/3 cup of warm water

      • 1+ ½ tablespoon oil

      • 1 teaspoon salt

    • Quesadillas filling

      • 2 cups of your fav already sauteed vegetables

      • 1 cup grated white cheese (stringy cheese works best or any other cheese that melts) - optional

    • Classic Margarita (per glass)

      • ​1 or 2 ounces of your favorite tequila

      • 1-ounce triple sec orange liquor or orange juice (optional)

      • 1-ounce fresh lime juice

      • agave syrup or sugar to taste

      • 1 chile serrano sliced to serve (optional)

      • ice, salt or salt with chile powder

      • 1 lime halved to rim

    • Margarita Aura version (additional per glass)

      • 1 cup of your favorite red juice as strawberry, pomegranate or watermelon for example)

      • 1 pinch cayenne pepper or chili powder

      • 2 pink peppercorns (grounded)

  • Utensils​​

    • Guacamole

      • 1 cutting board + 1 knife + 1 fork + 1 spoon

      • 1 medium bowl to mix

      • 1 small bowl to serve

    • Quesadillas

      • 1 bowl to mix

      • 1 tortilla press (optional) and two thin plastics

      • 1 rolling pin

      • 1 flat pan

      • 1 kitchen towel or tea towel to keep them warm

    • Margaritas

      • 1 mixer

      • 1 small dish to rim
